Fanxi Delarue est une architecte d'intérieur et photographe chinoise basée à Paris et à Saint Barthélemy. Fanxi est originaire de Mongolie intérieure en Chine. Elle a une expérience de commerce international et a vécu en Asie, en Afrique et au Moyen-orient avant de s’installer à Paris. Au cours de ses voyages, elle prend des photos de rue, de paysage, de nature et d'architecture. Son dernier projet «Beyond the Sea» est basé sur la création d’images abstraites et grand format des plages de Saint-Barth, imprimées sur de l’aluminium brossé. Ces œuvres sont expérimentales et peuvent être intrigantes, tirant parti de la mer et des plages pour créer une vision artistique aux émotions complexes.
Fanxi Delarue : "Je viens à Saint-Barth depuis 13 ans et nous avons beaucoup de famille sur l'île car les grands-parents de mon mari s'y sont installés dans les années 50. Nous avons également une résidence sur l'île à Saint Jean. J'aime le paysage sauvage et toutes les plages de St Barth. La photo et la randonnée à Grand Fond à l'aube sont parmi mes activités préférées. Bien sûr, faire du shopping et essayer les nouveaux restaurants et bars sont également un must! Je me suis fait tellement de bons amis au fil des années. Chaque fois que je visite l'île, le temps passé avec mes amis est précieux pour moi."
Fanxi Delarue is a Chinese interior designer and photographer based in Paris and Saint Barthélemy. Fanxi is originally from Inner Mongolia (China). Previously a global metals trader, she lived in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East before settling in Paris. During her travels around the world, she has developed her own style across various subjects, whether it is street, landscape, nature or architecture. Her most recent project “Beyond the Sea” is focused on creating large format abstract images of Saint Barth beaches, and in particular printing on brushed aluminum. Some of the works are intriguing and experimental, using the sea and beaches as the inspiration for creating an artistic vision with intricate emotions.
Fanxi Delarue : " I have been coming to St Barth for the last 13 years, and we have lots of relatives on the island, as my husband’s grandparents settled there in the 1950’s. We also have a residence on the island in Saint Jean. I enjoy the wild landscape and all the beaches in St Barth and shooting and hiking at Grand Fond at dawn is one of my favorite activities. Of course, shopping and trying out the new restaurants and bars are a must as well! I have made so many great friends over the years. Each time when I visit the island, the time together with my friends are delightful and precious for me. "
