Can you tell us more about your concrete experience of the lockdown ? What is your personal state of mind ?
I spend my days in peace, reading, painting and back crawling. Quiet and positive, constantly realizing the chance to be in St Barth, preserved, surrounded by this "calm, this luxury and this pleasure" dear to the other great Charles, but also carrying a permanent feeling of helplessness in front of a World that risks disappearing. Ecology, Economy its enemy, Consciousness of the Essential, Nature flouted, already well underway in St Barth.
There remains the possible harmony, found thanks to people of good will, the courageous, the people of heart. And painting, music.
The brutal awakening leading to a chaos that is difficult to control remains possible. Our leaders are not up to the situation and those who want to stay there are already using stupid and totalitarian methods, against the tide of the possible survival of our animal aspirations but also artistic, literary, musical and philosophical.
Does the lockdown experience have an impact on your art ? Do you practice your art during the lockdown ? if yes, can you tell us about your new pieces ?
This new experience requires reflection, putting everything into perspective, priorities, health, family, children, all children, absolute avoidance of mistreatment, unbearable. Which does not always facilitate peace of mind for work. Strive for the positive, strive for Life.
