How are you experiencing the lockdown?
When the lockdown was announced, I was in Paris. I quickly booked a ticket for St Barth, I didn't want to get stuck in an apartment. I had to stay in quarantine, which allowed me to rest and do things I didn't take enough time to do. Reconnect a little with myself. Compose music. And I continue to work on my new series which I will unveil this summer if everything gets back to normal.
What is your state of mind?
This lockdown has taught me again to take the time to take my time so I feel rather serene.
Does this lockdown experience have an impact on your artistic approach?
The photo series I'm working on gently addresses how each individual feels in contact with Nature. With everything that's going on, people have this need to reconnect with nature, for the most part I think.
Are you practicing during lockdown? If so, can you tell us about your new works?
My photographic project will be divided into four volumes, each volume will be based on one of the four elements of Nature. The first volume OCEANSIDE will be a series of individual portraits where each person photographed will describe their state of mind when in contact with this element, water in the case of the first volume. The person will be able to describe this state of mind, these emotions through the lyrics of a song or a film.
So I'm working a lot on developing this idea currently.
