Eric Demarchelier est un peintre franco-américain. Artiste éclectique, il travaille principalement dans les domaines de l’expressionnisme abstrait et des abstractions géométriques. Il réalise également des peintures figuratives, portraits ou paysages. Formé par le peintre Leonid Gervis de St Pétersbourg, Eric Demarchelier pratique son art depuis 25 ans. Né en Normandie, il habite à New York, à Shelter Island, où se trouve son studio, et à St Barthélemy, son lieu d'inspiration majeure.

Eric Demarchelier is a French-American painter whose work includes figurative, geometric abstraction and abstract expressionism, as well as landscape and portrait painting. Trained by St. Petersburg master painter Leonid Gervis, Demarchelier has been active for the past 25 years. A native of Normandy, he lives in New York City, Shelter Island, where he keeps a studio, and St Barthélemy, an island which provides most of his inspiration.
