Since 2015, Saint Barthélemy has developed a new artistic movement with artists of European or American origin. Staying on the island part-time or full-time, they all convey the character of Saint Barthélemy: a limited space where elements - sea, sky, wind, sun, sand, rocks, flora - intense and present, are concentrated, giving it its unique beauty.

Connected to this direct and powerful energy, these artists add two ingredients:

- elegance, which has been the characteristic of Saint Barth since it became a leading destination for high-end tourism

- simplicity, stemming from the island's history and its inhabitants, which makes the works coherent and attractive

This "Raw Elegance" artistic movement is naturally suited to the contemporary villas that are the current hallmark of Saint Barthélemy. Sharing the same elegance, it helps to anchor them in their environment through its connection with the island's energy and elements.

Thus, year after year, villa owners or regular visitors who love the island are increasingly buying these works, rising from 9 in 2017 to nearly 70 in 2019 and already 50 in the first months of 2020.
