It is an acquired trait, not one I was born with.
I graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a passion for patterns, life’s differing textures, and the infinite nuances of color.
The promise of unfettered creativity drew me to the sun drenched West Indies; it was here I found my perspective.
Now I am woven deeply into the fabric of St. Barth, where I paint and teach art to the local children.
I work in watercolor, using a blend of Atlantic and Caribbean seawater as my medium, so each painting is elemental to St. Barth.
For the past 25 years I have drawn what I love, the old ways of the island, the places, people and views that remain beautiful and timeless.
