I transform naturally heart-shaped stones from Saint-Barth into enduring sculptures. Each piece is a message from the island — a universal symbol of love, unity, and our connection to nature.
My work begins in the raw landscapes of Saint-Barthélemy, where stone and earth quietly bear the memory of time. I walk the island’s cliffs, ravines, and forgotten paths, guided not by intention but by intuition, searching for fragments of nature that speak with a silent, universal rhythm. When I pick up a stone and discover within it the unmistakable curve of a heart, I feel as though the island itself is offering a message—one that I am simply here to reveal.
My practice is rooted in a deep relationship with Saint-Barth. The stones I collect come from the island’s own terrain—its volcanic ridges, its arid slopes. These materials have weathered sun, wind, and sea; they contain the island’s essence. When I place a finished heart back into the landscape—on a wall, among rocks, overlooking the sea—it becomes both an offering and an invitation. An invitation to pause. To look. To feel. To reconnect with what is simple and essential.
Through my work, I aim to express the transformative power of tenderness, the poetry of nature, and the enduring presence of love that surrounds us when we choose to notice it. My hearts are not objects to possess; they are moments to experience—fragments of Saint-Barth offered as reminders of connection, joy, and humanity.
Art, like the heart, is a bridge.
My work is an open invitation to cross it.
